It was announced earlier this month that the all-new Lincoln Continental had been awarded a Top Safety Pick+, the highest award possible from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), thanks in no small part to the vehicle's available crash prevention system and optional adaptive headlamps.

Robb Report magazine recently announced that the 2017 Lincoln Continental had been named the 2017 Best Luxury Sedan in the Wheels category of their June 2017 "Best of the Best" issue. This is the publication's 29th annual edition, and the Wheels category broken out into the following categories: Luxury Sedans, Sports Cars, Grand Tourers, SUVs and Motorcycles.

In complimenting the vehicle, Robb Report stated, "Lincoln’s full-size flagship sedan doesn’t try to be sporty. Instead it provides comfort and elegance, what Lincoln executives tout as ‘quiet luxury’.”

Autotrader reviewed the 2017 Lincoln Continental in April, noting that the all-new sedan extends a challenge to the likes of Audi, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz and Cadillac.

Featuring luxurious details throughout, the brand's flagship sedan delivers a quiet, powerful drive that has more than a hint of sportiness about it.

Earlier this year, Autotrader announced that the flagship 2017 Lincoln Continental was one of the 12 vehicles that received "2017 Must Test Drive" awards. The editorial team praised that the state-of-the-art sedan for its levels of style and luxury, with several impressed by the sedan's luxurious details, handsome exterior styling and upscale interior features.
